If any of you ever wonder why the heck I live in Wyoming, it’s because of days like today. Who would have thought that in the middle of August our high temperature would be 71 degrees! OK, who’s jealous? I was able to turn off the AC and open all my windows. I recently had to close them because it got too cold.
(Cold front moving through)
My camera was finally returned (from my child), so I was going to post a video of Tubby crowing. You see, he now crows morning, noon, and night. As luck would have it, my son and I could not get him to crow. We spent about a half an hour, shivering in the cold wind, trying to get him to crow. I’ll have to try another time.
Well, in the mean time enjoy the smokey sunset.
Gotta love Wyoming. A decent day in Northern Colorado today, too. I actually left the front porch to go inside because the wind was just a bit chilly. Beats those 104’s.
I love reading about your Wyoming Adventures! (Maybe Tubby didn’t crow because he knew you were already awake?) LOL. Can you imagine a rooster crowing in the suburbs of a big city? When we lived with Todd’s parents, they had a neighbor with a rooster that crowed every morning.
OMG, fiery sunsets and 71 degree temps in August? I am moving to Wyoming straightaway! I need a Tubby fix, though…hope to see him soon 🙂
Thank you! It was really nice to open all the windows and enjoy that fresh mountain air! I have finally got a video of Tubby crowing. There is a story behind trying yo get him to crow. Coming soon!
Wow! Amazing photos. I really love the sunset. That is really cool.
Thank you!
