The fall leaf season is coming to a fast close so I wanted to check out the leaves down by the river. We just had our first snowfall and it was a tad bit chilly, so we just walked a very small portion of the almost 11 miles of the Platte River Parkway.
The river depth dropped quite a bit so you can now see the moss that was growing on the rocks.
We ended up having a picnic in the truck because it was cold, but it was still fun none the less.
There are a lot of recreational opportunities in and around the Platte River. If you would like to find out more about them you can check out their website at http://www.platteriverparkway.org/
Such pretty pics – I especially love the one of the water with the coloured algae (?) on the rocks – great shot!
Wow! Visually stunning! I wish I was there!
